Swollen glands above collar bone/throat infection

Hi all
I have been diagnosed with herpes recently. Not able to tell type 1 or 2 all the test just indicated positive to exposure with 28 days and negative to hsv 1 and 2 previously. The incident I had 5 weeks now was in an adult erotic massage parlor. I had a body slide, oral and hand stimulation ( condom was inserted using CSW's mouth). I regret this incident a lot and feel terrible. I have now had z throat infection for a week with minor phelm, occasional cough to clear phelm and after 4 days of throat infection slight inflammation of the gland just above my collar bone on the right side. Is this due to a recently acquired herpes infection? I had tingling in genitals 4 weeks ago but no sores anywhere. I tested negative for all other stds but it was just 12 days after exposure. I have never had vaginal sex with anyone but have been to massage joints on a few occasions. Please advise if my throat gland inflammation  is related to herpes virus or any other virus as I have never had such a kind of throat/gland infection in my life. do I need to worry for other stds??

Thorat infection and just swelling of glands combined with faitigue feeling is what i am expriencing. I have recorded my temperature several times and it is below 37 C. I do not have fever or diareha or any visible rashes. Do i need to be worried? What i have seems like Pharyngitis and doctor has given me Abbocillin. I am completing my dosage today and feeling better. But just please advise if my symptoms are ARS? Also does ARS have all symptoms at once? As it week 4 i am really scared....

Sounds like a run of the mill viral infection that many folks get (not related to STDs!). Herpes doesn't cause phlegm production, nor tingling alone. I would say you're confusing guilt with risk; your encounter was not a risk if protected oral; even then unprotected oral has a low risk.

Be seen by your regular doc if you concerned with your cough, etc., and none of this sounds herpes related at all.
