Symptoms of HSV2

Hey-

I'm back.  At 7 weeks after possible exposure (dry humping with underwear on), the tests still came back negative.  I'm waiting until 80 days for next test (leave on a trip for awhile after).

It's been 8.5 weeks since the exposure now and the fissure is still there.  The pain comes and goes sometimes.  For the past week, I've been drowsy as all hell, feeling warm in the face, etc.  I don't think I've had a temperature, but starting yesterday, I had a slight itch towards the right side of the head of my penis.  Today, it's not as bad an itch and there's no sores, but it looks slightly red and scaly.

Just doing my usual - does this seem like HSV2?  Thanks.

I'm just curious for future knowledge.  The whole window testing thing seems different in regards to who I'm talking to, which site I'm on, etc.

If you had no risk what difference does a test make

Life, sorry, I should have said that better.

I was tested 4 weeks in and then I was tested 7 (49 days) weeks after the possible exposure with type specific IGG test.  Both for HSV1 and HSV2 were negative.

I was just wondering how good of a sign 7 weeks is percentage wise that the test would be correct...

Thanks!

Handjobs are no risk for herpes, not sure what the 7 weeks means as you had no risk. If you have no risk, there wont be any signs. When you mention the 7 week sign, i dont belive your reading what we are saying.

For some reason, hearing this in Yoda voice put me the most at ease haha.

Just for my future knowledge, can you spread HSV2 through a handjob (both ways)?  And you think 7 weeks time is a good enough sign (I'm still going at 80 days just to be sure)?

Thanks, Fleetwood - this site is a lifesaver!

Zero risk exposure, zero relevant symptoms, zero showing up on test equals zero herpes.

As Yoda might say "more testing require you not".
