Symptoms

Hi all. First time poster in this forum. I hope someone could help me with an evaluation of my symptoms. Background: protected oral after lapdance at a stripclub more than 9 weeks ago, lasted only a few minutes..
Symptoms started 2-3 days after exposure: slight tingling and Pain at meatus, tender to touch and when in contact with underwear.  urethral meatus looks red and swollen at times, also slight redness on the right side of meatus. Slight pain in penis tip and last half of urethra from time to time. Tingling sensation (like a pinprick) in feet, toes, arms and fingertips. No discharge, blisters or ulcers. No fever, lymphnodes or other symptoms.
Sometimes burning sensation after urination and tendency to dribble after urination.
Std tests negative at 4 and 8 weeks. Hsv simplex IgG neg at 4 weeks, test at 8 weeks not ready.
My big scare is Hsv-infection. Could anyone share some info on this ? Is it possible that herpes could cause daily symptoms for more than 8 weeks? I am desperate and hope that the test at 8 weeks will show negative. In the meantime I would really appreciate it if someone could help with an evaluation of my symptoms. Thanks for your Help!

No.  This isn't herpes.  You were not at risk for herpes from the oral encounter.  Lap Dance is low risk.  Herpes won't last that long with constant symptoms.  Could be fungal infection or anything else.  Be seen by your provider.

Ok, thanks!  I was fully clothed during the lapdance so that would definitely be low risk:)

Have an appointment with an urologist today and will ask him for a prostate exam( Im 41 years old). The result of the Hsv-test read: Herpes simplex IgG Negative. Does that mean that both Hsv 1 and Hsv 2 is negative?

were you tested for both hsv1 and hsv2 or just hsv2?  there are combined tests and there are type specific tests.

Dear Grace. I am now 10 1/2 weekend post exposure. . It was one combined test and one hsv2 specific- both negative at 8 weeks+. Urologist found nothing  wrong on visual inspection. Prostate exam: tender and slightly enlarged right lobe. Normal psa. Urologist prescribed Cipro 500mg x 2 for 10 days for possible prostatitis. Now on day 7 but daily symptoms are more or less the same: tip of penis tender to touch, occational discomfort In urethra, occational pinprick pain In feet, legs, hands and buttocks. I try to settle with believing the Hs negative result at 8 weeks but still worried as symptoms continue. Could prostatitis cause tenderness to touch at urethral meatus? Could post exposure anxiety trigger prostatitis or prostatitis-like symptoms? I consider retesting at 12 weeks, If only for my own peace of mind. Any other suggestions ? Thanks for your help, it's much appreciated!
