Terrified I may have HSV

I am a 19 year old female who is in generally good health. Ever since I was 13 I've always been prone to yeast infections, and often have a few a year, but no more than a handful. Within the past 3 months I've been noticing random small sores, occasionally one on my labia, and occasionally one between my rear cheeks. I've never had more than one sore at once, and they last a little under a week then they heal, but they are terribly painful. I'm worried it could be herpes because I've never experienced this before. In the past year I've only had one partner who has been clean since before we met. I had trichomoniasis when I was 15, but was quickly treated and have been clean ever since. I have doubts that I have herpes just a little, for a few reasons. I've always heard herpes is a group of sores, but I've only ever had one at a time. And also, they seem to appear after a yeast infection, because I'm constantly seeking relief by scratching, maybe a little too hard. Or, I'll experience them after I've been on my period and been wearing a pad which seems to be a possible cause as I get rubbed a little raw from wearing pads for over a week. But I'm also terrified because there's that possibility, and I have no idea what else it could be? Also, my partner has no symptoms of any kind related to herpes or yeast infections, or anything for that matter. We are regularly intimate, so I would assume if it were herpes, he would be having symptoms as well? I just need a little bit of medical advice because I truly don't know what I would do if I had herpes. I've had multiple partners, but as I stated previously, I've been with my current partner for over a year now, and just started getting symptoms 3 months ago. Thank you in advance for your time.

Hi
What you describe does not sound like hsv. Hsv can have an outbreak anywhere in the boxer shorts region. However most outbreaks will take place in the same spot or general area. You can go and get an igg type specific blood test. When it comes back negative your can put hsv out of your mind. I would go and test with your boyfriend. Doing this together is a good way to get closer. Not everyone with hsv has symptoms. In fact a large portion of folks with hsv do not have symptoms.
