you had the wrong testing done. you had non-type specific testing done which can't tell the difference between hsv1 and hsv2. You need to repeat your igg testing with type specific testing.
138487 is the test number for the herpeselect immunoblot for labcorp. if your local labcorp offers it, that's the test to get.
otherwise go with 164905 looks to be the type specific test they offer.

Thank you for your prompt response. Is there anything you could add to the numbers that I posted? I am in the process of setting up that test you requested..
nothing you can ascertain from + combined hsv results like you had done. you could have hsv1 or hsv2 or both. no way to tell. you can even have a + combined test and not have either type of hsv.
