Test for Herpes

Hello, I got a hand job from a Asian massage lady a few days back...which also involved a hand job (unprotected). I know this is relatively safe, but I did use a the hot towels there. What are my chances of contracting Herpes. Also, I would like to get tested, this isn't the only time I did some thing like this. I would like to get tested for herpes, I have no out breaks. But I would be at peace.

this was no risk for herpes.

there is no need for any testing at all for anything from this.

Thank You Grace. I feel a lot better. I'll be getting married some time soon. I would like to get STD test done...Cause I did have a cpl of sexual activity in the past with others. Mostly oral and Hand jobs. I hear people who have genital herpes aren;t aware of it sometimes. Would not want to fall in that % and give another human being an STD. DO let me know the right test for Herpes.

hand jobs are not a risk.

oral sex is a very low risk in general and we don't recommend any testing unless you develop symptoms the risk is that low of contracting a std from oral sex.

you and your future partner would need type specific herpes igg blood testing for herpes done. statistically at least 1 of you has hsv1 orally, whether you get obvious cold sore or not so you would need to know both of your statuses in order to make educated decisions about what precautions to take for oral sex once married. that would be the only reason to test, not test from the sexual contact you've had so far. make sense?
