I would not bother with the immunoblot next week. You've already tested with similar blood tests already. Definitely you need to confirm your low positive but it should be with a biokit or a herpes Wb at this point.
BioKit does not have a provider in my state. Will an immunoblot based upon serology reporting the results as positive or negative be sufficiently accurate to confirm or dispute my IgG results above?
I had the Herpes SelectSelect-ob Select-ob+dha Immunoblot draw since I had paid for it before my original post. The results came back today:
HSV I - IgG - Negative
HSV II - IgG - Negative
I understand that the Herpes SelectSelect-ob Select-ob+dha Immunoblot is designed to verify results from the standard HSV II IgG Herpes SelectSelect-ob Select-ob+dha. I am confused, should I retest in two months or is this result from August 11th a valid result?
I am posting my follow up results just to help others see my progression for comparison purposes. My most recent results 6 weeks after the last ones are as follows:
Herpeselect
HSV II - IGG = 2.11
Immunoblot:
HSV-I IGG = Negative
HSV-II IGG = Negative
No signs or symptoms. I am working on getting the WB performed.

Thanks,
Sam
You might start at your local std clinic.

Its up to you if you want to retest. If you do, I'd wait a couple of months, and go with the WB.
