Testing positive for HSV 2 and then negative twice 5 months later

I went to the doctor back in Oct and got a HSV 2 IGG type specific test. The results came back positive 1.09. Then 5 months later I got a pannel test from another test facility and it came back false for my HSV 2 IGG test <0.90. So then I got tested again a week later for a HSV 2 IGG test and it too came back negative with a <0.90. I want to know if I am positive or not and if something like this could happen?

actually your first test was negative too. the equivocal range isn't considered a positive.

no reason for any testing again from the encounter you are concerned about. you have consistently tested negative.

Your first test was a super low number and anything under 3 or 3.5 I believe is a false positive and should be rechecked. I'm no expert but according to your current two tests I would say you are negative. Have you ever had any symptoms?
