Tingling sensation on foreskin

Hi, I'm an 18 year old male and about a month and a half ago I had unprotected sex with a girl and a month later she texted me telling me she got tested and found out she had chlamydia. I went to get tested and also found out that I have chlamydia. I was given antibiotics and I've taken them and that was about two weeks ago, since then all my other symptoms for chlamydia have gone away (painful urination, pain in my urethra, sore testicles, etc) but a day ago I started to develop a slight tingle on my foreskin close to the head of my penis. There is no rash or any lesions present just the tingling sensation. I've been worrying myself sick thinking it's herpes even before the tingling sensation because I read online that most people do not develop symptoms from genital herpes and the tingling sensation only makes me worry more. I'm too scared to get a blood test because I just can't handle the news. I'm worried sick can someone please help me?

Further get tested don't be scared to know the result. I say this not because I think you have herpes, I'm very sure you have balantis not herpes, but I say this so you can move on with your life.

You probably have balantis from the antibiotic useage for the bacterial infection you had. What you discribe I'm almost certain that's what it is. Get some lotramin from the store and apply twice a day. Keep the area dry and clean. After urinating pat dry.

Stop examining yourself. Could be irritated from too much touching

Yep. Lol
The problem with reading symptoms lists is understanding the context of said symptoms. Just like you, everyone panics (when affraid of herpes) from an itch or tingling. That's because that's what they've read. Not knowing that with a primary the first noticable thing is lesions forming.

No, most people do experience symptoms. However they can be mild and it either goes unnoticed or passed off as something else. I really doubt hsv in your case.

So I guess I should stay off Google huh? Haha

This surely doesn't sound hsv related. Tingling or crawling can be a prodrome symptom of a pending outbreak. Tbat being said you never had a primary outbreak. All in all if it were me i wouldn't be concerned about the tingle. We have so many sensations in thst area. Most go unnoticed due to them being normal. When we focus on the area due to fear then everything is noticed and hightened.

The tingling sensation has gone away but I'm still worried that I could still have herpes and its just lying dormant in my body. Is it really true that most people don't experience any symptoms from herpes?
