it's not very likely at all that your primary infection would present with these mild of symptoms.
I went to a therapist and talked about all the anxiety I was having. Afterwords, the tingling in my penis has gone down significantly. The area around my anus is still a little sore, but it has gotten better. I am hoping for the best, I will find out next tuesday. I realized that all of my symptoms started after I saw blood on my tp. My doctor looked up there and saw nothing and just said that my vein is close to the anus entrance and it could have gotten too stretched. Also, I have had a clear substance at the tip of my penis that makes my pee kinda scatter shot.
What is the mildest symptoms of Herpes that you have heard of? I know some people don't even show them, but is it possible to ghsv1 with just a little penile/anus iritiation?
no reason to think this is hsv1 genitally for you. you were seen and no one saw any signs of herpes. If you were hsv1 negative and contracted hsv1 genitally, odds are that you'd have very obvious and "classic" signs of herpes that no practitioner would miss.
No easy way at this point to know if your gf contracted hsv1 genitally from you and you are testing falsely negative on the blood tests or if it was just her first obvious recurrence of a previous hsv1 genital infection.

the blood tests we have now on average miss 1 out of every 10 hsv1 infections.

Do you mean the test 10% or 1 % for hSV1 ?
Thanks for the info. Ok, as I said above: assuming it's a new infection and that she was monogamous, she most probably caught it from you. The thing is that it's not that easy to say if a outbreak is a initial one or a recurrent one. So maybe she had genital HSV1 previous to u, maybe not. If the episode consisted of multiple sores, flu symptoms and bilateral sores (in both sides of the body, that is), there's a good chance it was an initial infection. But again, it's hard to tell.
About you: as I also said above, the blood tests for HSV1 are not great. They miss like 10% of the infections. U might want to pursue the western blot test, which is a better blood test, to learn if you have HSV1 or not.
Genital HSV1 is usually transmitted through oral sex. Even people that do not experience cold sores but are HSV1+ shed the virus without symptoms. It might be your case - you might have transmitted to her without knowing. U are worried about getting HSV1 from her but the truth is that there's a greater chance you transmitted it to her, not the other way around.
As for your symptoms, they don't sound like herpes, but might be a physical manifestation of stress and anxiety.
She had a gential outbreak about 3 months ago. They cultured her lesions and confirmed that it was HSV 1. I have never had any cold sores and my results came back negative for HSV 1 and HSV2 about 2 weeks after we had sex. So yeah, we broke up because she needed more space, during that time I thought I had escaped HSV 1, now I am pretty sure I have it.
First: how was your gf diagnosed with HSV1? is it genital or oral?
The blood tests for HSV1 are not as good as those for HSV2, they miss like 1 in every 10 infections. If you are in a monogamous relationship and if her infection is new, she must have caught it from you, which means your bloodtest is a false negative.
Do u get cold sores?
