HSV can cause tingling, numbness and sometimes pain in the buttocks, legs, and feet. This is sometimes localized or spreading with pain radiating from the buttocks down to the hamstrings and into the calves and feet similar to sciatica.
When the virus is active, the symptoms are present, and it is not always a foregone conclusion that it will present as blisters or a classic breakout. The virus can be active without a breakout on the skin.
It is very wise to avoid sexual activity when you have these symptoms. Over time, the symptoms usually get milder, and eventually they may diminish to the point that you hardly recognize them at all.
It is always wise to consult a physician. Self diagnosis is not very accurate in these cases.
if you should develop a rash, contact your provider immediately. just itching can be any number of things going on.
really nothing specifically I can say this is.
The tingly feeling now feels like how my feet feel if i stand in the same spot for too long and all the blood rushes to my feet and this new feeling makes my legs feel itchy like I have hives is this too part of the hsv2? not worried about it just curious.
keep asking questions as you have them :)
Thanks your help is greatly appreciate it this is my first outbreak so I'm trying to take in and learn as much information as I can so I can keep it under control and keep my head up and not allow this to depress me.
thank you so much I have been taking tramadol for the pain from the sores but it doesn't seem to effect the tingly legs so I think I will switch to ibuprofin. once again thanks a lot.
it's the hsv2.
take ibuprofen as needed. also soaking in the bathtub with epsom salts is also often helpful too.
