same symptoms except for the discharge and pain in the penis.
I have pain in both thighs. pain runs down to my feet. and pain in what seems to be in my pelvic area the base of my thighs where they meet my testicles and pain in my testicles. The pain can come on all at the same time. or different areas through out the day.
Also my ex had complained about thigh pain. Her Dr. said it could of been from her birth control. Since all my tests came back negative should I ask her to get tested?
I had the same symptoms like you and all my stds came back negative plus the herpes came back negative too.. I had all that after I had a contact with a girl and was very painful in my left testicle and lymph nodes pain.. I do not have testicle pain again but I'm still get buttocks, thighs, legs pain... flu and tiny swollen in lymph nodes and still my herpes test still negative for HSV1 and 2 .
It could me something else not related to herpes. Many viral and germs around too
1-Do you feel your testicle heavy ?
2-Do you feel it painful to touch your testicle ?
3-Do you or your partner get any rash ?
The pain I get in my testicles is just a sharp long lasting pain.
Same with the thigh and groin pain. I will also get nerve pain running down my legs to my feet.
And nerve pain running up my left side through my neck to my jaw.
I have been doing my research and herpes seemed like the culprit with people reporting the same problems with the nerve pain that I have been having I will have to continue with my dr. to figure out what is going on.
I had the same symptoms after I had a contact with a girl positive for hsv2. I had the outbreak many times but never tested positive for herpes.
In this site said: Some people never test positive ( Antibody is low to detect my herpeselect)
and they said the best test for herpes still miss 1 out of 10 and no test is 100%.
May be it will be a new viral infection ( HSV3 ) no body know and most of doctors without any update with herpes. and most of them still doesnt know about the herpes test by western blot.
The nerve pain is related to herpes family. I had told that by many doctors. and dont trust anyone will tell you herpes doesnt cause nerve pain. But still you cannot say you have genital herpes because you and your GF got negative result.
Did you Gf get any lesion, thighs pain, discharge ?
There is no proof that william has herpes same thing with you. Yes our testing may miss infections. The fact of the matter is when talking about HSV-2 it is more accurate than the HSV-1 testing. No test is 100%. As we have told William that if he believe he has herpes then be seen when you have symptoms and get a lesion culture. I would say that out of the year I have been here if grace says its not herpes related and your testing is negative that not one person has come back later and said it was herpes. Trust me given the amount of pushing we do sometimes people would come back and rub our face in it.
At this point you are talking to a person who refuses to accept his own status instead of accepting this information he chooses to ask irrelevant questions to make people thing they have herpes. The fact is that the only way to diagnois herpes at this point is with a lesion culture if your testing was done 3 months after your last sexual encounter.
By cdc website most of people with hsv2 never get any sores or blister.
That's mean they get another groin area problem more than lession.
Mistakeguy
Please try to understand wahts going on with a new symptoms because all theses symptoms came with people after they had sex not after play sport or watching tv.
Please try to be nice not rude when talking about other person you don't know him.
Actually william28 you are incorrect. It's not that folks with HSV2 don't have symptoms, it's that they don't have RECOGNIZABLE symptoms.
And Mistakeguy is correct - we don't want to encourage people who have a certain symptom that "Yep it has to be herpes" - nerve pain can be a symptom of something much more serious than herpes, so we advise people with just that to be seen be their medical provider.
socialtest799, nerve pain alone is almost certainly not herpes. Please re-read graces posts - she basically said the same thing - this most likely is not herpes related - I'd take graces advice for sure.
