Typically of hsv?

Hello,

I recently noticed two small red bumps on the head of my penis,  they were there for about a week and then we're gone.  I noticed a crawly feeling and sore lymph nodes. A few days later I have one more red raised  bump on the head of my penis.  Looks like a pimple I guess, but still have sore lymph nodes, tired feeling, crawly feeling.  It has been there for three days and not changed.  What I am wondering is do herpes always burst and crust over and form a yellowish crust before they heal ? I have not had any bursting or curating or scabbing.  They just sort of seem to go away.

Thanks

The only place scabing does not take place is inside a vagina.

Went to the doctor today.  Said it doesn't look like herpes.  Did a RPR screen  and chlamydia and cg DNA probe (ouch).  Awaiting results of that.

So I should assume I have some other issue going on if they are not opening up and crusting and then healing? Thanks in advance
