So the good news is that I'm quite clear that you don't have herpes. First of all, your test is negative, which is great. Second, the symptoms that you describe are not consistent with herpes. They are also not in the location that we would expect for a presentation of genital herpes. Also, your contact for intercourse was protected and unprotected oral sex on one occasion is unlikely to result in transmission. I think you should believe your negative test results and move on with your life. If you get any specific sores on your penis at any time, you should, of course, have that checked out by a health care provider. In the meantime, continue regular condom use with intercourse. You are on the right track!

Unlikely chance you acquired HSV 1.
Terri
I have not had any bumps nor blisters on my penis either so I'm asking what was the chance I could have gotten hsv1 and I did not see any blisters on her lips Ike around her mouth
Haha mam I'm asking if you think I caught hsv1 from this one exposure
The HSV 2 antibody test picks up 97 out of 100 infections.
Terri
Only hsv2 that's why I'm asking
No I never got tested for hsv1
As you can find in many posts here, the antibody test for HSV 1 misses about 1 out of 10 cases of HSV 1 infection. I cannot say that HSV 1 testing using the normal screening test is as good as the test for HSV 2.
Terri
As far as this one experience goes
So u think I'm good for hsv1 too thank you
