Unsure if Herpes

Ok, so right now I am abroad in Trinidad and Tobago. I have not had any sort of sexual encounter at all, including kissing since being here. I arrived at the beginning of September. Since then I had once, very early on in the trip, went to a bar and had shared a glass with a strange women I did not know, mostly by accident. I was scared about potentially getting herpes of the mouth for a while and for a while was checking my lips to see. Then one day a couple of weeks later, I don't know if it was just paranoia, but I started getting this weird tight feeling on a certain section of my lip. It seemed to be dry, and when I went to look at it closely in the mirror it looked as if there was a small flake of dry peeling skin on the lip where the area felt a little weird. The area was small. Then as time went on i was continually getting scared that I had herpes of the mouth, and was reading many forums on how it could potentially spread to genital herpes, and not to mention areas of the eyes. Since reading that I have been careful about touching the spot on my lip and spreading it to other areas. I am a bit of a hypochondriac, but just today I had noticed that there is one small red dot on the right side of the tip of my penis. I get scared easily but I don't know if it was spread from the mouth (which I don't even know is herpes of the mouth) to my genital area. I would normally go and get it checked right away, but it is a bit of a hassle to do so being in a foreign country. I am going to try and see if I can, but is there any other thing that this red dot could be?

oral herpes isn't going to be transmitted thru sharing a drink as an adult.
