Thanks. I figured that was the case but I hate just having to wait it out. Not knowing for sure makes me feel like I'm sitting around waiting for an outbreak or waiting 3 more months. It's very difficult. And of course I want to believe the negative test results but I'm not sure I can.
I just noticed that you had a pcr which is very accurate. But having a blood test would be a good confirmation. Have it 3 months post exposure.
So does that mean I have to wait another 2-3 months before a blood test would show antibodies?
Hi, swabs are only certain for showing a positive not a negative, A blood test would be needed to confirm your herpes status.
