You are looking for a cause on a online forum full of people who are not Doctors.  We can't see your lips therefore we can't tell you what we think it is.

The best thing YOU can do to help yourself is go to a dermatologist.  Personally you made a mistake and now you are LOOKING for your mark of shame.  Get over it this isn't herpes it is something else going on.  Go to your doctor get the answers you need.

I would tell you that the best 2 people on this forum and anywhere that don't charge for thier thoughts are telling you its not herpes.  Petal and Grace don't speak from knowledge (I speak from what I have learned to my knoweldge I do not have HSV and have some testing to back it.)  They don't steer people in the wrong direction or tell you "hey you don't have it move on" if their is a question in their mind.

From the knowledge side of me.  Herpes won't last this long.  I have numbers of spots on my lips and have even have bumps on the sides of my lips.  Been there every day since I had my HSV scare.  After seeing 3 doctors and a dermatolgoist guess what I learned?  Given the amount of time they have remained present it isn't HSV.

Now if you won't take our answers and still want an online thought then you can click on the experts forum (STD or Herpes both work great Terri Warrn is a Nurse Practitioner who runs a clinic that deals with a lot of HSV and the STD Experts is staffed by 2 of the best Doctors in STD medicine.  You can read their long creditials on their user pages by clicking on their names.)

Honestly everyone has said it you need to stop worring about it.

how come everyone doesn't have freckles like me?

every body is different. many things can be going on to cause your lip issues too, we are just saying it's not herpes going on causing them.

Even if this was herpes (which it doesn't at all sound like), there's a more likely chance you got it from a kiss from a relative. About 60% of the adult population has oral herpes, and many of us who have it got it in childhood from a loved one. 1 in every 2-3 people you kiss will have oral herpes!

Haha I hope you are right. I checked on the Internet and a link say's it could be fordyce spots and basically I am paranoid about this because I went to the strip club 5 and half months ago and a stripper gave me a 2 second kiss I am assuming she has hsv. a week or two weeks later bam. I mean I understand what I did was wrong and there are consequences but I don't want to live in shame with these things on my lip for my whole life

this isn't herpes going on.  herpes won't present this way and won't stick around unchanged for 5 months either.

you wasted a heck of a lot of money on abreva which doesn't even work all that well on cold sores as it is let alone something that isn't a cold sore :(
