What are my chances?

The guy I am curently seeing/dating has genital herpes and I dont have any STDs. I am a very healthy person. I have been with him for 6 months now and we only recently had sex, but it was with condoms when he had no signs of an outbreak. I was just wondering, what would be my chances of catching herpes from him if we had sex without a condom jus one time and went back to protected sex?

Another question: Is it still possible for a male with genital herpes to impregnate a woman without her catching herpes or affecting the baby? If so, how?

with herpes nothing is for sure i read somwhere a couple had been married for 15 years and the wife wasnt infected by her husband even though he had herpes but after all these years she got infected you may have sex many times unprotected and not get infected may have one single time unprotected and get infected its best to be protected this is an uncurable disiease.
