What are the possibility of spreading herpes to my family?
i just found out i have herpes.
im living with my family and i love them very much. My mum does the laundry. What are the chances that it'll spread to my family ? :(

You are not going to spread it to your family. It's an std for a reason.

but i keep reading about people spreading it to their kids ? and that it can be spread with towels or using the same glass ??

What type of herpes do you have and where. Example.. do you have hsv1 oral infection?

im sorry i dont even know whats what after reading so much on the internet, im just so worried for my family because my mum does the laundry and im afraid it might somehow get to her through that. Im asexual, so i dont care if i dont get a relationship the rest of my life i just care about my family. Thank you for the clarification.
