What are the reds spots on my penis?

A while back I started to notice redness on my penis; around the head and a little lower. At first I thought maybe it was just raw spots from masturbation which may still be the case. Last night, I had "sex" with a partner, nothing in tense just a little fooling around with a lot of body friction. Afterwords I checked myself to find huge red, dark red spots, almost like blisters in the same area. With a little cream and a few days of not touching it the spots will go away but why does this happen? Is my skin so sensitive there for some reason or should I check further into the problem?

You should show your doctor if the bump returns as they can give you a better idea. Herpes doesnt really come and go within a few days.  So it might be something else like a fritction blister.  Talk to your provider.
