What do I have

So 10 days ago I had vaginal sex and then anal unprotected. I went in my girls vagina and it felt as though something went into the tip of my penis and scratched it then I stopped for a second and the pain went away. After that we started having anal sex and I ejaculated in side her rectum.

I have never had a disease and me and my girl have only been having sex with one another. Two days later I was peeing in the morning and It burned REALLY BAD! It hurt during peeing and then it hurt for like 30 min after. Like 1 out of 10 it was a 10. I thought I might have a UTI so I just waited 3 days and the burning got worse. I then went to see a doctor and he prescribed me Doxycycline (Vibramycin) 100 MG two times a day for seven days. The pain went down to a 1, after 4 days of using Doxycycline. Two days after using this medication I noticed a little red bump on the head of my penis and then two more on the shaft 3 days after using the medication. They did not burn, itch or pus, but they did scab over. Also on the 3rd day of using this medication I found the tip of my penis around the hole it was a little red, but it did not itch or hurt. I have not had any discharge out of the tip of my penis.

The doctor at the urgent care thought I might have a bacterial infection or a fungi infection. Then after seven days I ran out of medication so I went to see if I could get some more and they drew blood to test it. My urine was clean for anything. So right now I am waiting for my test results. The doctor (a different one) thinks I might have herpes, syphilis,  genital warts or something along that line. My partner was tested for everything 4 weeks ago and was negative for everything and we have been doing stuff for the last five months. So their is no way I have a STD, and the women before her was my wife of three years, and she has been tested to and came up negative.

So I just need to know what some of you experts think.

Symptoms:
4 Very small bumps with scabs
Little red on tip of penis
Pain in my urination and hurt after I was done
No itching
No pain
No rashes
No swelling
No flu like symptoms
No odor
No discharge
No pus

Bumps that scab are suggestive of herpes. The fact that your gf or yourself got tested in the past doesn't mean a lot unless there was a herpes blood test included in such std screening - which is not the norm. Most people have never been tested for herpes.

Since your symptoms are gone, it would be ideal for you to get a type specific blood test for herpes (igg, not igm) within 3-4 months - that's how long the blood test takes to become positive.
Also, you could ask your girlfriend to get tested as well. If she's negative, this can't be a recent acquired herpes infection.

I thought it was penile trauma for a while. My GF was tested for herpes last month. She had a blood test done just as I just got done.

What I don't understand is that that Doxcycline helped the pain in the urination and the bumps did not start until after I took the meds. The bumps and urination are the only thing that suggest it is herpes. But then again they do NOT itch, hurt, pus, or swell. This all started happening two days after I hurt my self while having sex.

it could be one thing going on or multiple things. anal sex is a common way to get bacterial infections in the genital area and of course the antibiotic you were given would help with that.

at this point, should symptoms return, be seen and get them checked out again. warts will not go away that quickly. syphilis rashes tend to look differently too. odds are this was bacterial or fungal since it wouldn't be likely that you would describe your herpes lesions as being painless.

cover your bases while it's all on your mind to make sure you and your gf have had herpes igg blood testing before. also make sure you've both had proper std testing done. if your partner only  had a pap test, she didn't have proper testing done so it's something you both need to talk about and look into further.

Okay thank you so much. I just found two more bumps on my shaft today. They are red and they are not scabbed over and they do not itch, pus or hurt. They are just red and real small.

Can bacteria or fungi cause one to get bumps?

Any suggestions. I am waiting for my lab test to return.

Okay so come to find out I did not have any STD I had a blood and urine test. Everything came back negative. I had a bacterial infection from a cut inside my penis and then having anal sex.

It caused me to have little red bumps that turned into scabs and it cased pain in my urine.

I just wanted to inform everyone of my situation.
