with my boyfriend- we've done it before and everything's been fine afterwards. But this time I was quite sore the next day (monday) and when I went to the bathroom there were dots of blood on the tissue. The pain and blood got a little worse over the next couple of days but now, a week later has almost cleared up. I assume that the soft skin around that area got torn- which explains the pain/blood etc...
However- my actual question is that on thursday morning I noticed two small pink bumps/spots around my anus which were tender and sore. They've now turned into little blisters and I have a few more close by. I've done a lot of online reading and it sounds like herpes, but I don't have any of the other symptoms like fever
glands etc... Another possibility I found was a bacterial infection.
Both myself and my boyfriend got STD/STI tests at the beginning of the relationship and both were clear. I haven't cheated and I honestly don't think he has either. Could this still be herpes? Or does it sound like something else?
Oh I forgot to mention that I'm going to the clinic on Tuesday for sure. I'm just trying to put my mind at ease in the mean time because I'm just very worried that it might be HSV2.
And I'm pretty sure we were both tested for herpes which was negative. But I also know (after doing all of this reading) that HSV tests can be semi-unreliable. Hence my worry.
I guess all I want to hear is that there is a possibility that it is something else!
With herpes you want to be seen sooner rather than later.
Don't be pretty sure you need to look over your testing to be sure. Never assume with things. Just because you were tested you need to know if you were properly tested which is using the HSV igg type specific testing.
Testing rather more accurate then you may think if the proper testing was done. I don't know why people seem to think it is semi-unreliable. Every test out there that is blood related has a false positive and false negative rates. There is not a single test going that is 100% perfect.
There is many things that cause bumps on the skin from infections to staph
