What is this?????

Hello, I am 17 years old and about 3 months ago, I noticed 2 bumps on the head of my penis. I went to the hospital and they checked it and told me that they don't think it's an STD. It didn't itch, burn, or anything of the sort. I noticed that when I masturbated, it would appear (probably about a few days after). I also have been using different types of soaps because of the soaps that my mother and father use (since they are divorced). I tried using a soap for sensitive skin and that seemed to work just fine. But then, I ran out so I started using the regular soap. About 3 days later, I went to sleep and when I awoke, I noticed there were a few bumps on my penis, in one cluster. I didn't worry about it as much but I continued using the soap. The next day, when I came home, I noticed that the bumps had spread, looking like blisters with water in them. I haven't had any unprotected sex and I haven't had sex for at least a month or 2. I have no idea what is going on!!!! I'm pretty much worried. Could this be from soap irritation or sweat from when I was sleeping? This would be highly appreciated if you could answer this question anybody. P.S. The bumps do not itch or burn. They are just there on the shaft of my penis.

Many things can be causing your symptoms. At this point you need to go and be seen and get these blisters looked at. It's best if you can be seen within 48 hours of their appearance for a lesion culture and typing to rule out herpes.

Since it's been 2 months since you last had sex, a type specific herpes igg blood test can also be done too.

do you use a good lube when you masturbate? If you have sensitive skin, you should be using something like astroglide or ky for masturbation.

also let mom and dad both know that you are having soap issues and need a specific soap ( dove for sensitive skin for instance ) at both houses.

Your description of the bumps sound like Genital Herpes.  But do not freak out just yet.  The fact that your blisters do not hurt, itch, tingle, or have any out of the ordinary sensation to them is a good sign.  One of the hallmarks of herpes outbreaks is pain.  It is quite possible that you experienced contact dermatitis from the soap changes.  If changing to sensitive skin soap helped, than it points to it not being Herpes.

However, if you still have blisters / sores there, or if they have ever reoccurred, you should get them tested immediately.  Regardless, you should get a type specific IgG blood test for Herpes to confirm.
