What to do

I currently have an outbreak...i took valtrex for the three days, ive had this for about a month now what else could i do to sooth the outbreak. Any tips?

Also, you don't really describe what your idea of an "Outbreak" is. What are your specific symptoms?

As waringblender pointed out - this might not be an ob if you treated it and it's still there a month later. Have you seen your doctor for any sort of work up?

Outbreaks don't usually last a month. It might be something else. If Valtrex isn't working, it's probably not a herpetic lesion. Call the on-call nurse and see what they say. Go commando if you can, since tighty whities can irritate or cause friction. Don't wear a thong, as that could constrict in the "wrong" places.  Soothe has an /e/ on the end of it. Good luck!
