What was yor Primary Outbreak

Hi Everyone

Just thought I would ask what was your Primary Outbreak was like?

Hopefully people with symptons can use some real life examples when they are trying to work out if the have herpes or not and if simular goto a doctor for tests.

I find all the pics on the internet as the worst case of herpes and not very helpful.

I'll start with mine

I had unprotected sex and then after 3 or 4 days I all of a sudden I got a sore throat and the tip of my penis was red, inflamed and hurt to pee. Pretty much the same/next day I saw 3 pimples (no pus really) on the left side of shaft of my penis just under where the foreskin would start (I'm circumcised), not overly painful probably just as painful as a pimple you might get on your face. About a day or two I started feeling a little fatigue (like you do when you have the flu) and also had a fever  that was bad for like 4 or 5 days but slowly went away over the course of 10 to 12 days. The inflamed tip of my penis and painful urination went away in about 3 days after it started and it suddenly just stopped as quickly as it came. A day later and about 4 days after the original pimples had formed it looked like a scrape formed on the head of my penis, once again not much pus and not at all painful. The sore throat lasted about 10 days, 5 days pretty painful to swallow then slowly got better over the remaining 5 days. The pimples turned into reddish lumps with a crater and then after about 8 days it scabbed up for like 3 days before the scabs fell off.  I was in a tropical area when this started so I the pimples didn't seem to heal but when I got back to where I live which is quite dry (and I applied powdered cornstarch, the stuff the use on babies buts) they cleared up a bit quicker. I went to get a test about 16 days after the initial symptoms (which gracefromHHP has told me was way too early) and the test came back HSV1 Equivocal and HS2 Equivocal.

I'm going back in Feb for a follow test (as gracefromHHP has advised), so eveyone please wish me luck and send me positive vibes!
