csf means cerebral spinal fluid. you do not want to have that ordered.
herpes pcr is for lesion cultures. since herpes isn't a blood borne virus, routine screening for herpes infections can't be done via pcr.
honestly I can't even tell you if the herpes simplex virus 1&2 igg is type specific or not, you'll need to call and ask specifically. I doubt the other test is type specific either.
