centered. occured once mid last year and another this month. It is ther size of a very tiny pimple, but not as bumpy. at times it looks and feels (with tounge) like a tiny blister but ranges in size through the day becoming flat sometimes. its never changes color
. I went to the doctor last time and she said it did not look like herpes and it cannot be tested unless it was an open sore. I just went again for this occurence and again the doc said it did not look like "typical" herpes but decided to do a blood test and swab. so now i;m waiting till tuesday for results.
Any ideas or advice on what it can be, or what else i can do to figure this out? thanks.
I'm inclined to go with the first provider who said it didn't look like herpes. It doesn't sound like herpes either. If your blood test is hsv1+ that still doesn' t mean this is due to herpes, it just means you have hsv1 which the majority of adults do have but most don't get obvious cold sores to know it.
