Worried- Frequent hsv 1

I have genital hsv 1- diagnosed by swab almost 5 years ago. I did not have an ob for almost 4 years, and then in 2011 i had 3!  all in my anal area, the first reoccurance i had intense leg pain and a large lesion, second time i had leg pain and a tiny lesion, and now the one i have right now is just a tiiny lesion and no leg pain. These have all been in the same spot so i know its what it is. I am just wondering if this is normal, everything i read says i shouldnt be getting this many, im wondering is something is wrong with my immune system and if im going to get them all the time now.  Also, like i mentioned, they have become much more mild each time.
