Worried/Please Help

Hello and thanks in advance. I am very worried about my situation. My wife and I have gential herpes and she has had outbreaks in her mouth in the pass. That being said.
I had been with an escort on July 17th and perform cunninglus on her.
Five-six weeks latter I had an outbreak of herpes in my mouth (back of Throart).
I have been under a lot of stress for the past two months.
I spoke to the escort and she repeatly has said that she gets tested every TWO weeks and she has nothing...and that nobody has ever complained to her.
Others symptoms include irridtation on the tip of my penis, senitive testicles, back pain at tailbone, scracty throat.
I am taking Valtrex since the outbreak two grams per day one morning and one evening pill.
The backpain has mostly gone away. The irridtation at the tip of my penis is gone and so is the senitive feeling in my testicles.
The only thing left is the scratchy throat. I do have some redness in my throat. I am swallowing fine although I do have to clear my throat often. Is this NORMAL.
My concern and worries are that the Valtrex is not working as it should b/c of the redness in my throat and the possibilty of her having HIV and the fact that I could have contracted HIV from her b/c I am not to sure that this woman is telling me the 100% truth and that I got the oral herpes from her.

I know that this is the forum for herpes however I wanted an opinion from people who have dealt with situations with Herpes.

Also I was tested thirty days out from being in contact with this escort. Not for herpes..of course since I already had it. All results can back negative. I do not know if the HIV test was the DNA PCR but I am going to find out.
I also am scheduled for a DRs. appointment next Monday and I am thinking of getting retested.
I do not want to give HIV to my wonderful wife.
By next week it will be 65 days from being with this woman

you never needed testing for hiv from performing oral on someone. save your money and no further std testing.

Grace thank you for your support. I do not mean to be a pain. I am WORRIED.
I cannot wait until Thursday evening. That is the latest I will hear from the Dr.
No news is good news....that is his motto.
I still will kept my regular appointment with him next Monday.

I will let you know what the results are the as soon as I hear.
You are right about reading and looking on the internet. Everything that is there you think you have those symptoms.
One last question If the results from the HIV test that I had done today come back negative (60days anti viral 1&2 Teter) should i go with it or be retested in another 4-6 weeks?

you are reading things from sources that are just adding to your anxiety about all of this. you are not going to spread your herpes to different body parts - when it does happen, which isn't often, it's during the initial infection and you have a very well established infection at this point so it's not a worry.

no reason for more blood testing - you are pretty much wasting your time and money with that at this point.

no reason to think your mouth/throat symptoms were herpes or std related. don't let your guilt and anxiety make you believe you were at risk for something that you weren't!

I have read that I could have reinfected myself in a different area since I do have Genital Herpes.
From not properly washing my hands or perhaps scracthing myself bleeding and touching my mounth.
I have read about this in detail.
Also my symptoms started at my tailbone....just like when I first developed and was diaignois with Herpes.

The sensation on the penis was NOT burning but more of irridtation. After the Valtrex the irridtation on my anus and penis and bumps in the back of my mouth subsided.
The only thing that iI still have is a slight irridation in my throat.
I DID NOT HAVE ANY OTHER UNPROTECTED SEX WITH THIS WOMAN.
That I am positive about.
I did get tested today 60 days out from being with her. another anti viral 1&2 Teter and other STD's

Sorry for the delay.
PROTECTED VAGINAL intercourse. That's it.
The marks on the back of my throat did subsided after taking Valtrex. I am still taking the Valtrex b/c of some irridtation in my throat.
Today I went to the DR and had another Anti Viral 1&2 Titer that is after 60 days.
The question is if this test comes back negative should I follow up on another at 90 days or can I rely that I do not have HIV.
I was also getting tested for other STD's

it's not likely you contracted herpes orally from performing oral on the sex worker.   you already have it genitally so it's not likely you'd contract it orally now. If it's not a herpes issue going on, all the valtrex in the world isn't going to help your symptoms.  This really just sounds like an upper respiratory infection and nothing std related at all.

did you have any other contact with this person other than just performing oral on her?

You only performed cunninglus on the escort. Then you started having burning on the penis and sensitive testicles etc. Those pelvic symptoms don't sound like herpes and probably would not have anything to do with your oral contact with the escort. Did you test for chlamydia? Chlamydia can cause pain in testicles and burning around the opening of the penis. I'm not sure if that would be from oral contact with a infected person however. You'll just have to research it and check with the doctor.

As far as what the escort told you about her being tested etc. Well, honestly, I think most would say that, would you not agree? Why would she admit to you she had a disease? She may not even really know if she does or not.

Stupid me Bobrope. Yes I do have gental herpes.
So I should not be that concerned with HIV except if I had cuts in my mouth.
I do not regularly check for cuts. They can be so small.
Lets say I had a cut...not big...but a cut nonetheless...how much should I be worried.

But you have genital herpes, right? Not oral herpes. Why would it be more likely for you to catch HIV through oral sex just because you have genital herpes? If you had no sores in your mouth or anything like that, HIV transmission is highly unlikely. Trust your urologist on this one.

I'm not an expert in HIV testing, maybe you should post in the HIv or the STD forum. they might be able to give you such information.

I was not swabbed. I am going to the DRs next Monday and I will ask ihim to take a culture.

I really really only had oral sex with this escort. I understand that HIV even from my own urologists that it is near zero for someone to contact HIV thru oral sex (if she has it) ....BUT I AM CONCERNED B/C I HAVE HERPES.

I was given the Viral Antibody 1&2 Titer tests.
The window frame for this is one to three months. I was tested 30-32 days out.
My urologist said the test is very accurate but I am still a mental case.

If you only gave oral sex to the escort, HIV is not really a plausible possibility. Besides, most sex workers do get tested frequently for STDs.

Still, follow up with the usual STD screening tests, since this was an unprotected encounter. It will give you some peace of mind.

As for the "oral herpes" thing - you mentioned herpes in the throat. Were you swabbed to check if this is really herpes in the throat? It could be just a regular sore throat.
