Worried and confused about results

Hello -
I recently received my HSV1 and HSV2 igg ab test results back saying the following:

HSV1.93 = equivocal
HSV2 .64 = negative

My questions are:

1) Is it possible HSV1 has been like this for a long time? Maybe as a child?

2) I heard most everyone has HSV1. Is this true?

3)With regard to my HSV2 result (.64), is this a normal looking negative? Because I thought it would be lower. I want to ensure its not a high negative that would change.

Any expert knowledge would be helpful. Thank you.

Life 360 is spot on with his advice and information. also the results you have are a clear negative. if you want a second confirmation, just do another test mate. wouldnt hurt to do so. cheers

most of what we fear, is in our heads.

Golden, your bouncing all over the place with mulitple posts, please stick to one post and your questions will be answered but please stick to you own exposure as this is not an information only forum.

Also, since I haven't had a breakout of blisters anywhere in the last 5 weeks, is this a good indicator I don't have HSV2? Even with a .64 negative result? I just want to be sure.

Plz let me now as Im worried about this.

.93 is negative at 3 months mark and 8 weeks is a good indicator. and yur symptoms are not suggestive of herpes

Yes, the test says anything 1.1 and over is a positive and says I am equivicol for HSV1 at .93. Is this really a negative?

Im worried I have HSV 2 now since its .64 and its 6 weeks since last exposure.

Symptoms over the last 5 weeks included burning sensation after urination with extra dribbles after I urinate. Also, mild itching at the tip of penis and pains in the shaft at times. Are these symptoms reflecive of HSV (1 or 2)?

Can you please explain?

correction, i mis read the hsv1 numbers. if the test you took says any number above 1.2 is positive then you are negative for hsv1 also.

Hi.
1. If you tested at least 3 month post any exposure then your hsv1 is almost certainly a false positive, retest to confirm if your concerned but it cerntainly loe. Most with long term herpes have a number 5 and above.
2. 60%
3, if you tested 3 month past then its normal negative
