Worried whether this could be Herpes

Hi,
I had recently been to a strip club (2 days ago) and yesterday my skin itched (skin on hands, legs and neck). I got concerned and tried to find some information on web regarding this. It was this time when i understood that Herpes is a potential virus that can be transferred during such engaging.
I did not have sex but i got a lap dance and i kissed briefly (about 5-7 secs) on her breasts, stomach and neck about couple of times. Today in the morning i got a small bump (relatively near to elbow) on my hand which seems like an insect bite. It became red on scratching (did not itch) but did not pain and does not have any fluid in it. (my skin is itching today also on hands and neck).

I am really scared for the fear of Herpes and i am wondering to go for a blood test. I would really appreciate any advise and light on this matter. How much time should i wait before going for a blood test?

I would've changed my reply to your risk of contracting a std are very low and not worth any testing from had you had said that.

always best to keep your pants on when a stranger is rubbing their nekkid naughty bits over your lap ;)

you were at absolutely no risk then for anything from the lap dance. std's don't go through clothing to infect you.

there is no reason for any testing at all from this encounter.

thank you for your reply. I had my pants and full sleeve shirt during the whole time of dance. There was saliva to skin interaction during kissing and i am worried about it. I do not know how much time should i wait to confirm that it is not herpes or i go for test.
Do you have any suggestions for me?
thanks

nothing you've mentioned sounds herpes related ( or std related ). see your provider for a proper work up to find out what is going on.

did you have your pants on for your lap dance?
