So I was tested back in December and came clean for everything. I haven't had another partner since then, but about a little over a month ago I had this boil looking thing appear on the skin between my scrotum and shaft of my penis (underside) it stuck out from the skin and being stupid I popped it. It was mostly blood/clear fluid. It hasn't healed/crusted/scabbed or anything like a normal a herpes outbreak that I've read. Not to mention its been there for over a month. It just looks like a small circular hole. The area it's around is where my hair grows and I've noticed it looks like the hair follicle pores around it, just red. It doesn't really itch or anything and was never painful. I shave quite often down there until recently. There's only one of these, btw.
Could this be an infected hair follicle? Was it a simple boil? or something worse?
