Would herpes cause penis pain for 10 weeks?

Hi, I'm a 32 year old married male who stupidly had one-time unprotected sex with a female 10 weeks ago. A day or so afterwards I started experiencing a dull ache/mild burning sensation in my perineal area and up the urethra, and a slight feeling the urethra still had urine in it. My scrotum skin feels sensitive also, but I've had no sign of lesions, or other general feelings of ill health.

I tested at 4 weeks, 6 weeks and 9 weeks for all STI's and all have come back negative - from what I understand from elsewhere in the forum the risks of one-time transmission are low, but I'm not sure what else it could be if not herpes given sero-conversion times for other STI's.

I've been extremely worried and the doctor I saw at the STI clinic suggested it may well have been guilt rather than anything medical, but that was 4 weeks ago and I still have the symptoms. I've since had a ultrasound on the area and I have early kidney stones and a couple of cysts, but am advised they wouldn't be causing the symptoms.

I'm at a loss now and would really appreciate any guidance you could give.

It's most assuredly not hsv. Hsv wouldn't persist like this and you've had no lesions. What ever it is is not an std. I have had so many married men with your exact scenerio and symptoms. The one thing they all have in common is it never turns out to be an std.
