Wouldnfroction or heat make herpes bumps appear if I’m infected?

I noticed that whenever I run (in a humid area) while wearing spandex, I see more tiny red bumps in my groin area every time later on that day. If that isn’t typical of herpes, then I am convinced I don’t have HSV.

Does that usually happen?

Only “symptoms” that have been happening are the tiny red bumps, and sometimes itching.

The bumps are painless.

Hsv can be triggered by trauma but in your case this is clearly heat and moisture related. I work in the heat and get this as well. The fact this happens often after a run is a dead giveaway. I wouldn't stress over it at all.
