Yeast Infections and Herpes

Hi!

I am totally confused about my symptoms at the moment.

I contracted genital herpes about 5 years ago and have not had one single outbreak since (lucky, I know).

I developed strep throat last week and just finished a 10 day dose of antibiotics- about 3 days ago my vagina started itching quite a bit and was very dry, I even saw little tiny dots of blood when I wiped. It started to burn after I was itching it alot.
I took an overnight yeast infection medication last night because I figured I was developing one due to the antibiotics- it's happened before.
This evening, however, the itching has stopped but the burning persists- and I just noticed a couple tiny bumps around my labia which is also swollen.

I am trying to figure out if this is just enflamed and with the sores from the yeast infection or is it is a herpes outbreak. I've never had any bumps or swolleness from a yeast infection- anyone here?

Someone help!!!

the one time vaginal treatments for yeast are pretty potent and some women really have reactions to them.  At this point I"d refrain from having sex because of the yeast infection and also just in case it triggered your herpes too. If you have any herpes antivirals around, now would be the time to take a round of them to treat this ob.

How were you originally diagnosed as having genital herpes? do you have hsv1 or hsv2? What is your partner's status?
