i know that i have already posted here before, but im still kind of anxious and dont have access to a doctor for a while. please give me some advice my situation. i may be easy for you to analyse but i really have no idea.
1) was exposed to saliva diluted in water, someone spat it out at me and the fluid ran down between my buttocks. i have no idea if they have hsv, they didnt seem to have any lesions, but who knows?
4) i have noted small lesions that do not appear to be blisters but may be a result from stretched veins.
i am really concerned that maybe i have been infected with hsv inside my rectum, i did immediately clean the area, but am concerned that some of the fluid may have entered my anus and infected me this way.
there was no skin to skin touch, but i have read that some hsv can be present in saliva. what is the liklihood that the virus could survive in the water from someones mouth? and the liklihood of being infected by exposure to the fluid without skin on skin contact.
i have looked around for info but keep coming across conflicting info.
i think it may be herpes because of the itching a discomfort. it unfortunately coincides with me having a mouthful of water spat on me whilst changing after a football game. hence my worry, a mouthfull of water and someone "shedding" inside their mouth, running over my anus, and then a few days later the itching starts.
i am aware that transmission require skin on skin contact, but im worried nonetheless.
Somebody spitting in water isn't going to infect you. Have you considered educating yourself about how herpes is transmitted?
