babies and cold sore
my newborn is 8 days i was trying to burp her n she move around and it touched my cold sore, will anything happen to her when should i get her tested?
i read that newborns get 6 months protection from hsv1 by mother that has been infected with hsv1 is that true ?
aren't skin to skin contact the only way to pass it on? if so what are the risks?.. it was a quick second and i washed her face with water right after. i wasnt sure if i had washed it on the area because i was panicking.
we don't test babies unless they have symptoms.
