Just wanted to explain this a bit to the forum since it's a new feature on medhelp.
it's my understanding that when you post a question on a forum, you'll receive an email asking you to pick the "best answer" to the post you made. this is totally up to you if you want to do this or not. In some situations, there might not be a "best answer" to even pick!! the purpose of this feature is so that when others are reading your post, they can quickly identify which response YOU FELT was the best answer to your question. for instance say your question was " I received unprotected sex last night and am wondering when I can get std testing done ". I might give you a response with all the std's and time you can get tested for them at. If you pick this as the "best answer", then when someone else is searching on medhelp for std testing, if they come upon your post and what you asked was similar to what they were wondering, they'd know that this response out of say the 10 you were given, was the response you thought helped you the most. In theory they'd just read that response and not have to read the rest of the answers for help with that issue for them. any questions - feel free to ask!
So to the members of the forum who participate regularly and/or read posts regularly, this is not medhelp singling out particular people. It also doesn't mean that any response you gave wasn't appreciated or the "right" answer, it just means that when the person posting picked the "best answer", they picked the one they did.
