At 7 weeks up to 80% of people have seroconverted and test positive so a very good sign.
The test must be IgG to have validity. Carefully examine the results.
Hi again, today i went in for the full tests including herpes, but i tried desperately to remember what type you recommended.. but since i was so desperate i accepted it. didn't want to prolong my results. On one page it said igm..or igg? (I JUST KNOW IT WAS 3 LETTERS) i also saw that it said: "Type I & Type II" by it.Then i signed a different paper that said "western blot", that one may have been the hep-C. Well i guess il figure out later.
The herpes and the hep C ones were not covered by my plan so i was told i had to pay, but they didnt give me a price either :/
Im going to have my ex pay it either way.If anyone would have an std it would be him, so ive been reassuring myself that if i have an std(s) its ok. So..I guess i would be more surprised if i didnt :/
Anyways Today would be the 7 week mark. I am going back in on Wednesday to see results. Do you think @ the 7 week mark, i could have a negative score (for herpes) that would be a conclusive range? or does that depend on too many things?
thanks:>
ok, thankyou very much for your answer.
The crawling feeling is usually limited to the small areas where a lesion appears shortly after. With no sores appearing, the tingling is most probably something else entirely. 'Tingling' is a very vague term and is often interpreted too broadly when attempting to associate with herpes.
thankyou for the tips and helping me feel better...although i know something is wrong/different...and the reason why i think its herpes is because of the ominous crawling feeling that felt like an electrical current/drill. It was allover vaginal area/anus but there was a localized feeling in the front part of my vagina. This was on the 6th day after exposure. Do you think that is a telling sign of infection? i cant find anything that could say otherwise. :/ im trying to ease myself into the diagnosis...i cant see it being anything else because of the fact that it affects the nervous system. what do you think should i realize its a possibility because of this fact?
thanks again
You can ask for IgG antibody testing type specific for HSV1 and HSV2 but you will need to repeat this 12 weeks after the exposure.
