bloodwork for IgG/IgM/HerpeSelect

Hello,

How long does it usually take to recieve results back from the lab in regarding these type specific blood tests? My samples were drawn on Wednesday.

I did mine on a Weds and got them back on Monday.

it only takes about 4 hours to actually run the test ( except for the WB which takes longer and of course the rapid tests only take 20 mins ).  What takes longer is if the blood needs to be sent out to a lab and how often they do the test there ( daily, 2x/week, weekly etc ). There also can be delays in the way the clinic receives the results and how long it takes until your doctor sees them.   It's not unreasonable to call back 48 hours after the test was drawn and ask if your results are in yet.
