  I am  gay male and I met a guy whom we have agreed not to have any oral or anal until we get to know each other better.
I have been tested for everything and all tests were neg
We  are  going to engage in petting, foreplay, kissing.  handjobs, cuddling and maye be rimming.
My question is: Is this any risk for herpes, since I read it can be transmitted by body contact.
And is mutual masturbation also a risk

Yes, herpes can be transmitted via oral sex, rimming and kissing. But if you are both negative, then there would be no risk! Make sure that herpes was included in your STD screening - it's not typically included.

hugging is not a risk. mutual masturbation isn't a risk either.

About 60% of gay males have hsv2. it's very common so make sure your partner gets full std testing too. Knowing your status is only half of the solution.
