body tingling but no sores

Hello

I received oral sex on Sunday morning, from someone who says they never get oral herpes and doesn't have genital herpes.

On Monday, a small red dot appeared on my penis but my doctor said it was nothing to worry about and was just chaffing.

Tuesday evening, I began experiencing tingling all over my body and a burning feeling in one of my bum cheeks. My anal region will also tingle or burn slightly. During the night, I woke up and my crotch felt like I had a burning piece of paper on it. Now, the burning has gone away but the tingling remains. I have had shingles in the past leftover from a chicken pox infection when I was a kid.

No sores have yet appeared, just tingling in other parts of my body (no tingling in my crotch though, just occasional burning).

Does this sound like genital herpes?

Thanks.

These symptoms are too vague. These symptoms do fit in the realm of Herpes but could be many other things...I would roll with my Dr on this...unless other symptoms appear.
