bump?

So the other day after working out I felt a small bump on my inner vaginal wall right on the hair line.  It didn't hurt no itching no nothing, I only noticed it because I wash with my hands.  Well as I was looking at it the next day I scratched it open and nothing happened.  Then I had intercorse and now it looks like a small layer of skin is missing like it would if you popped a blister.  There is still no pain and I went to the doctor and she told me it was most likley an irritated ingrown hair and to come back if it happens again.  But Im still worried!  It is healing and its the same color as the rest of my vigina (vagina) but I'm still a bit worried!!  Any one else experience anything like this??

You were seen and they didn't think it looks like herpes.

Herpes lesions hurt and/or itch.

Have you and your partner ever been tested for herpes to know if you even should worry about it?

well I get cold sores on my mouth but havent in many years and I have ben tested many times I use to get tested every six months as far as my partner he said he is clean, and freaked out a bit when I told him what was going on with me.  
I asked the doctor if it could be anything else and she said it looked like an irritated ingrown hair she had a medical term for it but I cant remeber.
I just get worried about things like this because I know std's can pop up years after exposure.

Most std tests don't include herpes testing. You'll have to specifically ask if you've been tested for herpes or not with your testing. do they tell you that you are hsv1+ when you get std testing done?

does your partner actually get tested and if so has he confirmd that indeed he gets tested for herpes?
