I (female) have gentital herpes and take 500 Valtrex once a day. I want to know, can I give gentital herpes to my male partner while he is performing oral sex?

Yes he can. Which will oral herpes and it could be oral herpes hsv1 or hsv2 depending the type you were diagnosed for.

if you have genital herpes and your partner performs oral sex on you, he can't get herpes on his genitals.

He can contract your hsv2 orally from performing oral on you but the risk of that is very low.
