head show up two weeks later. it went away in a week, no blister or pain or anything. then a week later a smaller red bump on my penis shaft. i popped it and it went away also in a week. again, no blister or pain, got test at three weeks and negative on HSV 1 and 2. now i have no symptoms, but have had leg soreness for about three weeks. no constant pain, just soreness in the hamstrings and calves and thighs, pretty much all over. and also soreness in my knee. i have no clue. doctor told me to take asprin. i think it may be prostatitis, but i am not sure. just wanted to know what leg pain caused by herpes was all about. it will be two months next week, and i plan on getting checked out again. last two months have been hell. i am trying to stay as calm as i can, but it is tough. ......on another question, would 8-9 weeks still not be definitive answer on a herpes test (IgG and Herpes select test) thanks for your help.
Your leg pains do not sound like herpes. Continue to follow up on them with your doctor.
You should wait until 3 months post encounter to repeat your blood test if you really think it's worth repeating. Meanwhile should you get any more genital symptoms - leave your hands off them and see your doctor within 48 hours of their appearance.
