can hsv course anl fissures?

hi, i had my first out break over 2 weeks ago now. i first had a lump on the base of my anus and it spread from there i found it very diificult to pass to the point of nearly passing out from the pain however went the doctors got the tablets and its been 2 weeks and all the lumps cleared up i had two little lumps around the anus still but they werent that painful anymore and were healing nicely, i still had a little bit of discomfort when going the loo and bleeding alittle but nothing like it was to begin with i just thought it was the end of the healing process.
i did dicuss it with my doctor and he said if it wasnt gone within the week to come back. all the lumps have cleared besides this little one on my anus and it feels as tho a blister is appearing again weather it will fully develope i dont know iam still on the meds so fingers crossed. i started to get abit of an itch on my vagina and then today i went the loo and passing was a little bit more uncomfortable than last time and there was more blood then last time to. afterwards the anal canal has been itchy . and the itching had previously stopped due to it healing
why has it come back? i have heard with it being my first outbreak it can recurr again straight after is that true? i did have anal 2 days before my outbreak i didnt know i had hsv then (and yes i did tell the guy to get tested he has no symptoms) is the fact i had anal spread it to that area internally or is it a anal fissure it does feel as tho its inside the canal it was healing and still is but feeling as though i have taken a step back abit. I read that hsv can be related or course fissures however the hsv did start at the base of the anus and then spread tot he vigina area as it gradually got worse. or was it the fact i had anal it was a fissure and it brought out the hsv? any advice would be great. thanks

it's really helpful to just keep adding to your original post instead of making new ones each time.

This is still your first infection running its course from the sounds of things. It can take several weeks and new symptoms occurring after a week or two is normal. Whether you had anal sex or not doesn't mean a thing - it's the same nerves and you can have herpes lesions anywhere in the entire boxer short area. Did you get a chance to read the herpes handbook I had recommended in your original post on this?

when you are seen monday, be sure to also get tested for yeast and bacterial infections vaginally. both are common. Also have them look at your anal area again.  You could have actually have hemorrhoids as you originally suspected too. to get really personal - how are your bowel movements?  Are they soft and regular?

what dose of antivirals are you on currently?

Did your doctor diagnose you with herpes or anal fissures? If the former, only a swab/culture of symptoms can diagnose that; a visual diagnosis is quite often wrong.

Taking the antivirals could have been completely coincidental.

You need to be following up with your doctor at this point. You can test with an IgG type specific blood test (but realize, even if positive does NOT mean your symptoms were herpes). I don't understand what sort of sexual contact you had at this point.

sorry if i wrote that in the wrong way i havent been diagnosed as having anal herpes its just were the first lump appeared and then it spread to other parts i just thought that because i had anal afew days before that maybe i was shedding and because of the sexual contact it could of been somehow transferred into the canal only because i never had an outbreak before, thats were the pain started i actually thought it was piles at first because of the discomfort.
when taking the tablets for the hsv the blisters on my vigina cleared up literally within a matter of days but the base of the anus was still sore. i have traced back to when i caught the virus i mistaken it for thrust i should of went to get checked then but i didnt i had sexual partner after that not using protection and he didnt catch anything. but the person i caught it we didnt have anal so the location of the virus would be on the vigina and it doesnt spread does it? not unless like i said i was shedding and it got transferred what do you reckon?
or have i dont damage having anal but i didnt feel sore after it at all and it was only for about 5 mins, it was only two days after a itchy lump appeared.
i have tried to give you all the information i can. I hope this helps. thanks for any advice that you put my way iam just trying to come to a conclusion i have the hospital on monday so i might ask if they can just examine that area or take a swob because the hsv as literally cleared up i just have this little bit of discomfort in my anal canal. thanks for taking the time to read this.

How were you diagnosed as having anal herpes?

Anal fissures are something unrelated to herpes; as a matter of fact, anal fissures can be confused with HSV, so testing by a swab/culture is important.
