can i give myself herpes?

Hi, so last week i made out with this girl who i really like and i remember last year she had a cold sore.. i dont know if she had a cold sore when i kissed her. but the problem is i keep thinking i gave herpes to myself from oral to genital because it has been over 2 days since a possible oral herpes transfer and now i am scared to death. today at my doctors she was wearing gloves but tapped my face in a playful manner and hit my mouth and then RIGHT after touched/examined my testes etc. Seeing that i could have my primary outbreak since i havent had an outbreak that i remember in my entire life, was there a risk of my doctor transferring herpes (remeber if im havinga  primary outbreak) from my mouth to my genitals, because i read u can have a primary outbreak without symptoms and you can get the outbreak at least 2 days after initial infection. Should i go take a shower now and try to use soap or am i doomed because of my DOCTOR?!

Statistically at your age, 1/3 of everyone you know has oral herpes whether they get obvious cold sores for you to know it or not. It's incredibly common. You do not have to worry about giving yourself genital herpes or the provider you saw transmitting it to your genital area in the manner to which you've described.
