chance of having herpes, had no symptoms for 2 years
i've had several protected sex with some escorts. the last one was 2 years ago. i went to hospital and the doctor did a urine test (no blood test) and said everything is fine. i've had no symptoms whatsoever. i just felt nervous. should i get tested now given i've had no symptoms for 2 years? what's the chance of me having herpes?/

Well, you are posting on a herpes board, so are you concerned that you might have genital herpes or are you wondering about how to test for herpes? If you want to test for herpes, you want a type specific IgG antibody test for HSV 2 (you could also test for HSV 1, but if you've ever had a cold sore, no need, you will be positive).
Urine tests normally only look for gonorrhea, chlamydia and urinary tract infections.

the urine test was done about 3 weeks after the last exposure
the urine test was done 2 years ago. i don't know what exactly the test was about, but the doctor said all the things being tested were negative.
