conflicting test results for herpes

I am having trouble getting over what i've been told were false positive hsv2 results. 9 days after exposure i tested positive on a herpeselect test hsv2 1.22 hsv1 negative. Biokit was faint positive.Same exact results 3 months later. Confirmation westernblot and biokit negative at 4.5 months. Had several herpeselect test and another western blot test which were all negative. Is there any explanation of why the tests would show low positive for several months and than just turn totally negative? I have tried to accept the tests as false negs but i have had several nontypical symtoms (symptoms) over the last two years (bassically rashed on the head of my penis). How do i move on from this?
