I got my test resolt to day and my IgM resolt is 0.77
on the other hand my igG result says i am positive for boht type 1 and 2
so any one can help me anderstan what is my ............ is please?

you won't lower your igg with lysine. doesn't work that way. also it doesn't matter what your igg is - it's either positive or its not. anything else about the numeric value is meaningless.
you won't transmit your hsv2 unless you are having sex with someone.

And I followed you and stop taking acyclovir for a daily suppresant same as the lysine (though I am planning to drink it regularly for 1 year as to lower my IGG). Grace my only fear is transmitting the hsv1 or hsv 2 to people around, throught kissing and physical contact, especially to babies and children.

yes you can have multiple std's. having herpes doesn't protect you from other infections.
sorry - think I misread the way you posted your herpes test results the first time. A hsv2 igg of >5 means you have it and it's not likely a false positive. Now all your symptoms going on aren't necessarily due to herpes though so if you are still having symptoms regularly while on suppressive therapy, follow up on them to see what else is going on.
if you get a lot of pimples in your genital area, definitely follow up on that. you might have to change soaps or something to help decrease those.

That was taken last march >5.0 hsv2 and .79 hsv1. And Grace it is possible to have other std when I already positive to herpes...for example, genital warts?
can you post the results of your last blood test if they are different from the ones you originally posted?

If you tested HSV-1 at least 12 weeks after your last sexual encounter then chances are you do not have HSV-1. Your doctor is a little confused. If using an IgG blood test you can diagnosis of HSV-1 from the lab work.
HSV doesn't have a set way to tell a pimple apart from an outbreak. Outbreaks will generally though show up in the same area. They also will only show up if often only every 4-6 weeks where between the time you will have no symptoms.
Grace or Petal maybe able to give you more of a hand with more possible signs and help.

I suffered 1st ob last jan and the 2nd was last feb or march this year, ..I am prone to pimple outbreak on my face and body..and I cant differentiate if i am having an outbreak as i feel no symptoms..yesterday my boyfriend told me that i have a flat bump...u cant see but touch in my genital, but i cant say if its ob or a pimple bump or from the hair as my health provider told me b4..How can i distinguish it.
And i was tested negative for hsv1 through blood test...is this accurate, because a doctor infromed me that hsv1 cannot be diagnosed through blood test?

I actually recommend stopping the acyclovir at this point and if you get a return of symptoms, be seen within 48 hours and get a lesion culture done to confirm your hsv2 status. Once you have hsv2 genitally, you aren't likely to contract it orally. same with hsv1, once you have it orally, the odds of contracting it genitally are incredibly low.
if you do have hsv2 genitally, totally up to you and your partner as to how you treat your herpes and for how long. You never, ever have to even treat your herpes if you don't want to.

the doses of acyclovir are 400mg 2x/day for suppressive therapy. 200mg daily does nothing.
no reason to change your diet at all either. No reason to take lysine either. most of us already get more than enough lysine in our diets and the lysine/arginine theory never panned out outside of the test tube. In fact some of the latest research shows that arginine is helpful with herpes. Same with vitamin c &e - no reason to take them just because of herpes.

And will taking this meds and following the diet low in arginine and high in lysine will eventually lower my igg number w/c is >5.0 hsv2 and .79 hsv1

symptoms lasting 5 weeks genitally without changing, ,aren't likely to be due to herpes even if you do have genital herpes. I'd return to your provider again for a further work up. your coughing and throat issues aren't herpes related either - sounds like an upper respiratory infection going on.
you'll need to repeat your herpes igg blood testing at some point. there are some false positive issues with the hsv2 igg tests which is why we ask for the numeric results. You can ask your provider to call the lab and ask for the numeric results - most times they have them but only report as + or - to the clinic. If you can't get numeric results, definitely repeat your testing later on.

Grace i would love to post all the numerics number you like to see but thats the problem on my side there are no such a number shows on my IGG test result it just shows positive for type 1 and 2 my symptoms are swollen throat, with heavy cough and I feel very dry in back side of my throat, Its like a flu but more than feel like a bronchitis and every time i cough phlegm coming out.
Around my penis area i have a small blisters but no I feel no pain on it,And the shaft is swollen. it was itchy before but not anymore, but the small needle head size blisters is still there and also I felt little tingling and I seen I have bruises around my pennis right under the head all around it. It was about a 5 week now. I felt something going on and thats why I go to the doctor to be checked. I was sweating at night as i was sleep.
at the penis head and they been there for almost 5 weeks now I have notice my penis skin conditions looks like very old like sagging and wrinkled and the color conditons looks darker as it used to be. Now i can see bruises around, right under the head.

the igm herpes test is a flawed test and we never recommend its use.
can you post the exact numeric results for your igg testing? I can better help you if I see those. All I need to see are the actual results - ie hsv1 igg 7.8 and hsv2 igg 2.6 or whatever they are.
did you have obvious symptoms or was this a routine screening?
